I’ve known about Dr. Lazar for several years, I initially became aware because of a neighborhood post and I was really impressed by how passionate she is about her work. We have a choice and I always try to seek out people like that for everything that I do, especially doctors.
It took a few years (long story) but I finally had occasion to make an appointment at her office. First, I secretly asked her team “how good is she?” - they all said “incredible!”. What I didn’t expect was how NICE she would be, and truly knowledgeable. And everyone that I met of her team was the same way.. a real pleasure.

For years I have had issues with my eyes and all I kept getting was eye drops for a solution. At first I was hesitant driving over 1.5 hour for an annual eye exam. But I have to say it was well worth it. Loved the professionalism from the first phone call. Visited the office and was blown away by the technology. Dr Lazar went in depth explaining to me thoroughly about the eyes and as a Nurse u appreciate this. I had my first treatment and feel the difference already. Then I was met the Susy in the optical department who fitted me with the latest Dior sunglasses. Thank you Dr Lazar and your team for keeping my faith and not making me feel like I am pushed out of the office.

I am from New York and visiting relatives in Darien. This morning I managed to get a small abrasion on my cornea while dealing with a contact lens issue.

Rather than rolling the dice with a local urgent care or hospital emergency room, I did a web search for eye doctors in the area and this firm showed up with good reviews. Boy did I luck out on this one!

The receptionist answering the phone listened to my tale and was very compassionate… I was not a customer of their business nor did I have an appointment, but she offered to have me come to the office and wait “on standby” in case a doctor had a few minutes between appointments to help me.

When I arrived, I was greeted warmly and helped through the registration process. After spending less than ten minutes in the (very comfortable) waiting area, a practitioner interviewed me and completed my chart. Less than fifteen minutes after that, a doctor saw me. She was friendly, kind, thorough, and communicative throughout the whole process, including forwarding my chart and diagnosis to my optometrist and GP back home for follow up and sending in prescriptions for antibiotics.

It’s stressful to be on unfamiliar turf when accidents happen. I am so grateful to Pro Eye Care for accommodating an out-of-towner with the compassion and friendly, thorough care that I’m sure they extend to their “regulars”. I cannot recommend this business highly enough!!!

I, an optometrist myself, am very picky about who i choose to treat my eyes but I couldnt take the eye dryness anymore. I read many positive reviews for Dr. Lazar. I caved and made an appointment and let me tell you im impressed!
She is so knowledgeable about dry eye and has the latest technology in office (FDA approved Optilight and Optiplus). So far the treatments have been helping tremendously. Thank you Dr. Lazar and staff!

I’m so happy I found Pro Eye Care. I find this office through Neurolens, I’ve been looking for a provider that carries this specific type of lenses. The office is gorgeous and bright and has many new tech diagnostic machines. The staff is friendly and kind. Dr. Polvanov takes time to listen to concerns and explains everything she’s doing all with a kind, calm manner. I’m a huge baby about the eye doctor and I was well taken care of and never judged for it. There’s a large array of designer frames and a highly skilled optician with an amazing, high energy personality. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for top notch eye care.
